Meet Raegan

Hi! I’m Raegan, the owner and lead photographer of Clay House Photography. I’m an Indiana girl, currently residing in Broad Ripple, IN. I have been married for four years, and being a bride gave me a whole new perspective to weddings and what my job means in the mix of it all. If you’re reading this right now and you’re currently planning a wedding- big time props to you because it is a process.

I love traveling, thrift store shopping, and rainy days. I’m almost always craving tacos and am constantly looking up what band is coming to town next. I’m a big fan of small town coffee shops, bonfires, and wearing stripes. I am madly in love with my smoking hot husband Trevor. We’ve been best friends since high school, and I dream of moving away to Ireland with him one day. I got to live there for three months in college and it was a true dream. If you’ve never been there add it to your bucket list right now. One of my other favorite places is a beautiful little park tucked away in Swanton Ohio. It’s called Oaks Opening Preserve Metropark and it’s where Trev proposed. It’s a pretty perfect place as well.

I’m trying to become a reader & a morning person. Stay tuned to to hear how that’s going. In another life I think I could’ve been a backup dancer for Beyonce... okay probably not but it is a low key dream of mine. She slays and you need to go watch her Netflix documentary (your welcome in advance).

Creating this business has been an incredible process: full of joy, failures, fear, Jesus, and the support & encouragement of so many. I am captivated by the stories that make up relationships. Every single person has a story and it’s an honor to be invited into that. I’m always asked if shooting weddings gets old and routine, but the answer is honestly no. Weddings are really just a day of relationships & connection & family, and I don’t see that ever getting old!

It is a true gift to be fully known & fully loved, and that is what I’m looking to capture through my images. I want to help you save moments that spark joy & love & thankfulness many years down the road. I want to show you how beautiful you are and what the world gets to see when you aren’t looking. I want to give you photographs that you can share with your family & your kids & their kids. I’m trying to serve the future you almost more than the current you!

I will never take this job for granted because it is a true honor to be a part of a couple’s wedding day. This job is constantly growing me and pushing me to think & dream in bigger ways that point people back to Jesus. Life moves fast but I want to give you back some of those slow, perfect moments through photographs.

You are embarking on a crazy, wild season of life and I couldn’t be more excited for you.

We’re approaching our sixth year of business which blows my mind. I am reminded daily that this job and my role on a wedding day is a complete gift from the Lord. I really can’t believe that I get to spend my days telling stories through photographs. The past few years have been full of celebration, belly laughs, hugs, tears, moments of complete shock and joy, and faces of people that are completely & totally love. I’ve compiled some of my favorites below. Go check em out!
